Disciple Group
We have smaller Disciple Groups that meet weekly to disciple the church in holistic discipleship, a discipleship philosophy that disciples the whole person in all aspects of life to glorify God. Disciple Groups will have three main areas of focus: partnership, gospel and mission.
To join a Disciple Group, we encourage you to attend First Step.
Gospel Party
As an extension of Disciple Group, gospel parties are an invitation for both group members and neighbors. These are parties in people’s homes or other special locations to meet and connect people to take part in our Vision and Mission.
Prayer in the City
As an extension of Disciple Group, Prayer in the City is an invitation for both group members and neighbors to pray for Irving and DFW. Prayer in the City will be a time where we as a church go out to public city centers in Irving and our community, to prayer walk for our city, meet people in the community, and break bread together as a church family at local restaurants.

Scripture
No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man. And Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. John 3:13-15
Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” John 3:3-5
Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony. John 3:11
Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John (although Jesus himself did not baptize, but only his disciples), he left Judea and departed again for Galilee. John 4:1-3
Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:16-20

- Ask the Spirit to help us speak of what we know and bear witness to the Kingdom we have seen.
- Ask that the people of Irving receive our testimony and be born again into eternal life with our God.
- Pray to make disciples in Irving as Jesus did and commanded
